NEAR has amassed an immense amount of data from the world meteorological network, the Air Situation Display Information (ASDI), and the NAS Host flight plan data. This data is held in a data-warehouse at the NEAR facilities. Years of experience in mining and processing this traffic and weather data has allowed NEAR to generate valuable information from the raw data. All of the aircraft traffic information (since 1999) has been parsed and transformed into an easy to read data format, which greatly simplifies queries to the database and allows for easy extraction of relevant data.
