Ryan Gauthier is a student in his third year of Embry-Riddle’s five-year BS/MS program as a Software Engineer.  He was hired by the NEAR lab as a Software Research Assistant during his first year and has worked primarily on the iEMID application and the iOS-based AAtS proof of concept software.

Zach Holihan is currently a junior at Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University working toward his Bachelor of Science in Aerospace Engineering with a minor in Computer Science. Zach recently joined the NEAR lab as an Assistant Network Administrator and will be working as a Software Developer on several Next-Gen Tasks.

Jessica is a senior in the Air Traffic Management program and will be continuing into the Master's of Software Engineering program starting Spring 2016.  She started seriously programming  her Sophomore year of college and has since decided to pursue a career in software development and engineering.  She interned with an air traffic simulation company in Massachusetts over the summer, where  she learned more about the process for making simulators and the programming that is involved in doing so.  She hopes to someday program and/or design UAS (Unmanned Aircraft Systems) or ATC (Air Traffic Control) simulators.

She is currently working part time at the NEAR Lab as a student researcher, where  she develops code for various ERAU and NextGen projects and as a programming tutor and TA for various subjects, particularly Python and C.  She is also conducting Undergraduate and Graduate research with the UAS department where she is exploring the possibility of integrating multiple simulators together to better represent integration of UAS into the NAS (National Airspace System).

Alex is in her fourth year of Embry-Riddle's five-year BS/MS program for Software Engineering. Alex recently joined the NEAR Lab as a research assistant and will be working on developing software for NextGen tasks. In her spare time, she dabbles in web development and enjoys reading about machine learning. She aims to enter a bioinformatics Ph.D. program after graduating from Embry-Riddle.
